The magic of the muse.
Taliesin is the spirit of the bard.
He's the ever-present storyteller, poet & life of all parties.
The ancient bards believed that creative inspiration, Awen, came from beyond themselves.
Their quest for knowledge, 'invention' of a good poem and cultivation of a good time at a party were all part of the one bardic journey. Knowledge, inspiration, and joy flowed from the same divine source.
The Awen inspires and sustains an artist as they transfer that knowledge, inspiration and delight to a crowd - in turn transmitting that same sustenance through the act of entertaining.
When it strikes, it's like a lightning bolt and needs to be acted on. It can't be contrived or reverse engineered.
Taliesin's lore celebrates everything from myth, to history and even beer.
His poems reminded the bards to be disciplined, true and dedicated and above all to entertain.
That which they presented through their songs, was what they are.
We're a collective of dedicated screen creatives who believe in the power of creativity, in storytelling for good, in nurturing artists and in art for its own sake.
We don't make 'content'
But we can capture and serve an audience with inspired stories, told well.
We're here because we have to be, and work with people who share a passion for the art and for what we do.
We're true to making things the best that they can be, by listening to how an idea itself 'wants to be'.
We follow the ideas that inspire us with passion, care and craft.
We recognise and respect talent as we respect the unique wisdom, intuition and tireless work of production partners.
